The animal is prohibited in 'Tsum Valley' in Tsumanubri Rural Municipality of Gorkha District. Tsum Valley is a valley with very ancient Buddhist culture in the east-north region of the Gorkha district. The specific meaning of the word Tsum is 'East.' It is also known as the zone of non-violence. Tsumanubri rural municipality of Gorkha-6 Chumchet and 7 Chekampar, two wards are collectively called Tsum Valley.
